Our Origin Story
Every great adventure has a beginning. This is ours.
The Challenge
A world waiting to be unlocked
In the beautiful valleys of Nepal, millions of children grow up with dreams as vast as the Himalayas. Yet, most never get the chance to learn coding — the language of the future.
While kids in other countries are building games and apps by age 10, our children are told coding is 'too difficult' or 'only for computer science students.'
The result? A generation missing out on the creative power of technology. Not because they lack talent, but because no one showed them that coding can be as fun as playing their favorite video game.
Our Mission
Making coding feel like play
We asked ourselves a simple question: What if learning to code felt like playing a video game?
What if instead of boring lectures, children embarked on quests? What if instead of confusing textbooks, they explored magical worlds where every line of code unlocks new adventures?
Code Quest Academy was born from this vision — to transform coding education from a chore into an adventure that children actually look forward to.
Our Core Values
Learning Through Play
Every lesson is designed as a game. Quests, achievements, and rewards make coding feel like an adventure.
Made for Nepal
Curriculum designed with Nepali students in mind. Affordable pricing. Local support in Nepali and English.
Parent Partnership
We keep parents involved with progress reports, showcase events, and clear communication about their child's growth.
Real Skills, Real Projects
Students don't just learn theory. They build real games, apps, and projects they can show off proudly.
Community of Creators
Students join a community of young coders, sharing projects, collaborating, and inspiring each other.
Personalized Journey
Every child learns at their own pace. 1-to-1 support available. No one gets left behind.
The Solution
Game-based learning that works
Our approach is different. We built a complete game world where learning happens naturally through play.
Children start in the Scratch Forest, mastering visual programming through creative projects. They climb the Python Mountains, tackling real coding challenges. Finally, they enter the Creator Arena, building portfolio-worthy projects.
Every lesson is a quest. Every project earns achievements. Every student becomes a hero of their own coding journey.
Our Story
From classroom to game world
Code Quest Academy started in a small room in Kathmandu with just 5 students and a big dream.
Our founder, a software engineer and lifelong gamer, noticed something during his volunteer teaching: kids who struggled with traditional coding lessons came alive when the same concepts were presented as games.
That observation sparked an obsession — to create the most engaging coding education platform in Nepal.
Our Timeline
From 5 students to thousands — and still growing
The First Quest Begins
Started with 5 students in a small classroom in Kathmandu. First Scratch course launched.
Growing the Forest
Expanded to 50 students. Developed our game-based curriculum. Parents started noticing the difference.
Online Expansion
Launched online classes, reaching students across Nepal. Built our first virtual learning platform.
Python Mountains Open
Introduced Python courses for advancing students. First batch of students built real games.
School Partnerships
Partnered with 50+ schools across Nepal. Trained teachers in game-based learning methods.
2,500 Young Coders
Reached 2,500 students across Nepal. Students won coding competitions and built amazing projects.
The Adventure Continues
Expanding to more cities, adding web development, app creation, and preparing for international reach.
"I remember being told coding was 'too hard' when I was young. It took me years to discover how wrong that was. Now, I watch 8-year-olds build games in weeks. The difference isn't talent — it's having someone believe in you and making learning feel like play."
The Future
Building Nepal's next generation of creators
Our quest is far from over. We dream of a Nepal where every child has the opportunity to learn coding, regardless of their background or location.
We are building more worlds, creating more quests, and opening doors in more cities across Nepal.
Because we believe the next great app, the next innovative game, the next technological breakthrough — it could come from a young coder in Pokhara, Biratnagar, or Butwal. And we want to be the ones who help them begin their quest.
